We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Deputy Manager – Sustainability to drive our sustainability vision across denim manufacturing operations. The role will focus on implementing eco-friendly processes, ensuring compliance with global standards, and supporting innovation to achieve our sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with company goals and international standards.
- Monitor environmental KPIs (energy, water, chemicals, and waste management) and initiate continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with certifications such as ZDHC, Higg FEM, GRS, OEKO-TEX, and other buyer requirements.
- Lead projects in water recycling, chemical management, energy optimization, and carbon footprint reduction.
- Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Washing teams for sustainable product development (low-impact washes, eco-friendly chemicals, recycled fibers).
- Prepare sustainability reports and present progress to management and external stakeholders.
- Train employees on sustainability best practices and build awareness across departments.
