Engagement of Social Media Influencers (TikTokers) and Journalists

Project: Reaching the outreached children for improving vaccination through demand generation in KPK.

Background

In an effort to enhance awareness and promote positive behavior around immunization, CHIP will lead the training and sensitization of social media influencers (TikTokers) and journalists from 5 districts, as well as from the provincial/central level. This activity aims to leverage digital and traditional media to disseminate pro-immunization messages to a wider audience under "Reaching the Unreached Children for Improving Vaccination through Demand Generation in KPK.

Objective

To engage and capacitate selected TikTokkers influencers and journalists to promote supportive messaging around immunization through their respective media platforms.

Scope of Work

The selected TikTokers and journalists will:

  • Participate in Training & Sensitization Sessions
  • Attend a capacity-building workshop organized by CHIP at district and provincial levels.
  • Understand the key messages and communication strategy for promoting immunization.
  • TikTokers will disseminate video's messages aligned with the project's immunization themes.

Journalists will publish articles/features or conduct interviews to raise awareness on immunization.

Social Media Engagement

  • Each TikToker and journalist will participate in at least 03 events or campaigns across their respective platforms.
  • Use their personal/professional accounts for outreach to target communities.
  • Compliance
  • Ensure that all content aligns with CHIP's communication guidelines and ethical standards.
  • Use provided hashtags, logos, and messages approved by CHIP.

Target Participants

  • TikTok Influencers: 5 (one from each district)
  • Journalists: 25 (5 from each of the 5 selected districts)

Duration and Frequency

  • Minimum of 03 social media events/posts per participant
  • The timeline for engagement will be defined by CHIP based on campaign needs.

Payment Terms

  • Per Article / Per Social Media Engagement:
  • Payments will be processed upon verification of content publication and submission of activity reports/screenshots/links.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Consultants must submit evidence of each engagement (screenshots, URLs, or copies of published content).
  • A brief engagement report must be submitted after completing the 3-event requirement.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated reach and engagement on social media platforms or readership for journalists.
  • Willingness to align content with project goals and undergo training.
