About the Role

TeReSol Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Hardware Design Engineer – PCB
to lead and support the development of complex multilayer PCB designs for embedded systems and industrial-grade hardware solutions. The ideal candidate should bring in-depth expertise in PCB design, system-level integration, and design optimization with a strong grasp of industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of high-speed, multilayer PCB layouts for embedded, analog, and digital systems.
  • Oversee schematic creation, layout reviews, and BOM generation using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar platforms.
  • Drive system-level hardware architecture in collaboration with cross-functional teams (firmware, mechanical, and testing).
  • Perform advanced signal integrity, thermal, and power integrity analysis to ensure robust performance.
  • Lead prototyping, bring-up, and debugging of hardware systems in lab environments.
  • Liaise with PCB fabricators and assembly vendors to ensure DFM and DFT compliance.
  • Manage hardware documentation, version control, and project timelines.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in multilayer board design, including impedance control and high-speed routing
  • Deep understanding of analog/digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal processing
  • Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and mitigation techniques
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and SoCs
  • Hands-on experience with communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, Ethernet)
  • Skilled in using lab instruments (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, etc.)
  • Strong project management, documentation, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive, industrial automation, or IoT hardware development
  • Background in firmware/hardware co-design and system-level debugging
  • Exposure to international product certification processes (e.g., CE, FCC, ISO standards)
