High-Level Job Deliverables:

As a Cloudera/Informatica Lead Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data integration and big data solutions. You will lead the implementation of enterprise-grade data pipelines and ensure seamless data flow across systems using Cloudera and Informatica platforms. This role requires close collaboration with data architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead the design and development of ETL workflows and big data pipelines using Informatica and Cloudera tools.


• Architect and implement data ingestion, transformation, and distribution strategies across on-prem and cloud environments.


• Optimize performance of data processes and troubleshoot issues across the data ecosystem.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards.


• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

Technical Skill Set & Expected Expertise:


• Cloudera Platform: Deep understanding of Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Impala, Spark, Oozie, HBase)


• Informatica PowerCenter / IICS: Advanced ETL development, workflow orchestration, performance tuning


• Big Data Tools: Experience with Spark, Kafka, Sqoop, Flume


• Data Modeling: Proficiency in dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts


• SQL & Scripting: Strong SQL skills; experience with Python or Shell scripting


• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services


• DevOps & CI/CD: Exposure to Git, Jenkins, and automated deployment pipelines


• Data Governance & Security: Knowledge of data lineage, metadata management, and access control mechanisms
