
Field Sales Trainer

To design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for the field force, ensuring sales teams possess expertise in selling skills, and customer engagement. Prepare people to deliver the right messages to the customers and to take up future positions in the organization through coaching, training and development. To achieve business objectives and maintain industry standards.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Onboarding
To coordinate with regional sales managers and complete the onboarding process of new hires by providing ongoing support. Deliver orientation training to newly hires FMO. Track completion and maintain complete record of pharma onboarding.
2. Training Design & Delivery
Develop and deliver field training programs covering selling skills, customer engagement, communication and presentation skills etc. align with the strategic goals of the company. Develop training material according to the need. Facilitate basic sales training activities at regional level and national level, with a complete record of attendance.
3. Learning Need Assessment
Build LNA based on individual learning needs. Identify training needs during field visits, quizzes, detailing sessions etc. and create targeted improvement plans.
4. Training Calendar
Contribute to the process of the annual training calendar and its implementation.
5. Field Coaching & On-the-Job Training
- To ensure implementation of selling skills in the field.
- Conduct joint field visits with FMO to assess performance and provide coaching on identified developmental needs.
- Promote on the job coaching culture in the organization.
- Facilitate line mangers in coaching plan.
6. Refresher Training
Conduct needs based refresher training for FMO in PFI call steps.
7. Participation in Meetings
- Regularly attend MBRMs / Cycle Meetings to align training activities, quizzes, detailing etc.
- Conduct detailing session & role-play in monthly meetings, to build command on model detailing and situational detailing.
8. Performance Evaluation
Collaborate with the marketing and medical teams, measure training effectiveness using pre- and post-assessments, quizzes, feedback, and sales performance data.
9. Record Keeping
Maintain training records of all T&D activities and prepare reports for management on skill gaps and progress.
10. New Launches
Coordinate in new product launch training when required.
11. Compliance & Ethical Standards
Ensure all training content adheres to company compliance policies and local laws. Reinforce ethical promotion and patient-focused interactions.

Education:
Pharm D and MBA
Experience:
3 to 5 years experience
Competencies:
Communication, Presentation Skills, Coaching, Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
