Salesforce Automation Specialist

We are looking for a Salesforce Automation Specialist to design, build, and optimize automated workflows within Salesforce and connected platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Process Builder) and Zapier (or similar integration platforms) to streamline business operations, improve data accuracy, and enhance efficiency.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, design automation solutions, and ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and other tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce automations using Flows, Process Builder, and Approval Processes.
- Build and manage Zapier integrations to connect Salesforce with third-party applications (Google Workspace, Slack, marketing tools, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing Zaps and automation workflows for efficiency and reliability.
- Configure Salesforce objects, fields, and validation rules to support business requirements.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated systems.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify automation opportunities and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for all integrations and workflows.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce and Zapier updates, best practices, and new features.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce automations (Flows, Process Builder).
- Practical experience with Zapier or similar integration tools (Make/Integromat, Workato, etc.).
- Basic understanding of Salesforce data model, objects, and permissions.
- Ability to analyze business processes and recommend automation opportunities.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and webhook-based integrations.
- Experience with other Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud).
- Exposure to other automation platforms like HubSpot, Slack, or Google Sheets automations.
