Business Development Executive

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Officer who could help us find opportunities to grow and develop our company. The candidate will be responsible for researching potential clients and markets, generating leads, and developing strategies to increase sales and revenue. He/she may also have to conduct market research to come up with ideas for new products or services.

For being successful in this role, you should have excellent communication, analytical, and management skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients and build a database of leads through LinkedIn, Clutch and other channels
  • Manage LinkedIn account to engage with relevant audience and build strong relationships
  • Keep track of all the leads (working, qualified, and nurturing) and ensure proper follow-ups (across platforms) through messages or emails
  • Identify relevant jobs and apply on remote platforms (Wellfound, FlexJobs, WeWorkRemotely, etc.)
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies
  • Analyze market trends

to identify new opportunities and potential threats
- Prepare proposals for new opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction

Job Qualifications:

6-12 months of working experience in business development (preferably in the software industry)

Experience in identifying quality leads and building relationships on LinkedIn and Clutch

Experience in developing and implementing marketing plans, like social media outreach (on LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and targeted email marketing

Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Solid problem-solving abilities to align marketing strategies with business goals

Strong analytical skills to understand market trends and make data-driven decisions

Advanced time management and organizational skills

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of CRMs and project management tools

Significant technical knowledge about AI tools (particularly for graphics)
