Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Mechanical & Plumbing (M&P) Estimation Engineer
with a solid background in estimating costs for mechanical and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably working with US-based projects. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, and ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for
    mechanical (HVAC) and plumbing systems
    .
  • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from project drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks on estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine project scope and cost factors.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to validate requirements and clarify scope.
  • Assist in preparing project timelines and budgets based on estimation data.
  • Update cost estimates during project execution if scope changes occur.
  • Stay updated with current material costs, labor rates, and industry best practices in mechanical and plumbing works.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in M&P estimation for the US market.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, materials, and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in estimation and takeoff software must required (e.g., Accubid Anywhere, Bluebeam, Plan Swift)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
