Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Medical Coder based in Rawalpindi. The Senior Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately assigning standard codes to medical procedures, treatments, and diagnoses. Daily tasks include ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, reviewing medical records, and verifying medical terminology. The Senior Medical Coder will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure the consistency and efficiency of the medical coding process.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Medical Coding and Medical Terminology
  • Experience in Health Information Management and Coding Experience
  • Possession of RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) certification
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in medical coding
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or related field
