Job Summary:
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to help expand our client base, particularly through Upwork and other freelancing platforms. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in lead generation, client engagement, and business acquisition in the field of accounting, finance, and outsourcing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork, Fiverr, and other freelancing platforms.
- Generate leads and build relationships with potential clients.
- Create customized proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Follow up with prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
- Coordinate with the internal accounting/finance team to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and client retention.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development/sales on Upwork or other freelancing platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and outsourcing services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Ability to draft winning proposals and negotiate with clients.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and result-driven.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in business development with accounting or BPO firms.
- Familiarity with international clients (US, UK, Canada, Australia, Middle East).
- Good Communication skills
