Position:

The Head of Academic Operations is responsible for leading and managing all academic and operational functions across Roots campuses. This role ensures excellence in teaching and learning, compliance with standards, and smooth operational processes. A major focus of the position includes vendor management, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of academic resources, uniforms, books, and campus services.

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation across campuses.


• Ensure academic policies are standardized and aligned with institutional goals.


• Monitor student outcomes and teaching quality, implementing improvements as required.


• Mentor and guide academic coordinators and teaching staff.


• Supervise day-to-day academic operations including examinations, scheduling, and academic support systems.


• Manage procurement and distribution of uniforms, books, and academic supplies.


• Handle vendor selection, negotiations, contracts, and performance monitoring.


• Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.


• Oversee campus maintenance, repair works, and operational services through vendors.


• Act as the central point of communication between head office and campuses.


• Collaborate with principals and campus leaders to ensure timely execution of academic and operational policies.


• Coordinate academic and co-curricular events across multiple campuses.


• Ensure adherence to accreditation requirements, institutional policies, and external regulations.


• Conduct regular audits, evaluations, and prepare performance reports.


• Develop long-term academic and operational strategies in alignment with the organization's vision.


• Build strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable services and resources.


• Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and academic excellence.

Requirements


• Master's degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field.


• 7–10 years of experience in academic management & operations (preferably in educational networks).


• Strong negotiation and contract management skills with proven vendor dealing experience.


• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple campuses, teams, and projects simultaneously.
