We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist Executive to join our team and support our Australian healthcare clients. The role involves accurately transcribing and editing medical dictations, ensuring precision, consistency, and compliance with healthcare documentation standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong command over medical terminology, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently within Australian time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Listen to and transcribe audio recordings from doctors and healthcare professionals into accurate written reports.
  • Edit, format, and proofread medical documents to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Review and verify patient details, medical terms, and abbreviations for accuracy.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with healthcare privacy standards.
  • Meet defined turnaround times (TAT) and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain high documentation standards.
  • Identify discrepancies or unclear dictations and communicate for clarification.
  • Work independently and maintain productivity during the Australia shift.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in medical transcription or editing (preferably for Australian healthcare clients).
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
  • Excellent English listening, typing (60+ WPM), and grammar skills.
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and transcription software.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Must be comfortable working during Australian business hours.
  • Diploma or certification in Medical Transcription or related healthcare field preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with speech recognition editing systems (e.g., Fluency, Nuance, M*Modal).
  • Knowledge of Australian medical documentation formats and standards.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
