About the Role:

Integrity RCM is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented
Medical Assistant
to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth front-office operations, accurate patient data management, and efficient coordination between patients and providers. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive medical information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Reception & Insurance Collection
  • Welcome patients in a courteous and professional manner, obtain insurance information, and ensure that all required documents are complete and accurate.
  • Patient Demographics & Records Management
  • Accurately collect and enter patient demographic details into the electronic health records (EHR) system, maintaining up-to-date and error-free patient information.
  • Appointment Scheduling
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring proper time management and communication between patients and providers.
  • Referrals & Authorization Support
  • Prepare, track, and manage patient referrals and authorization paperwork to guarantee timely approvals and smooth medical care processes.
  • Medical Documentation
  • Scan, upload, and organize medical records, lab reports, insurance forms, and other related documents into the system for accurate record-keeping.
  • Chart Maintenance
  • Maintain and update patient charts regularly to ensure all medical, demographic, and administrative information is complete and accessible.
  • Patient Medical History Assistance
  • Assist patients in providing accurate medical histories and medication lists, ensuring providers have the necessary information for care decisions.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality
  • Handle all patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and company policies to maintain confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) or MBBS preferred
  • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a healthcare administrative role is an advantage
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in computer systems and data entry (experience with EHR systems is a plus)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
