Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of Ruby language and OOP principles.
  • Experience with RSpec or similar testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Experience in building interactive, user-focused web applications.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Understanding of MVC, ORM, RESTful APIs, and design patterns.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Experience with code linters, performance monitoring, and debugging tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
  • Develop scalable and secure features using Ruby on Rails.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
  • Optimize application performance and address bugs and bottlenecks.
  • Work with databases and data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Follow best practices for version control, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
