As we continue to grow, we are currently looking for Python Engineers. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager. Product Analyst's/Managers to refine user stories and requirements and identify, prioritize and execute tasks within the software development life cycle. Develop and maintain Python applicationsDesign and deliver reliable, readable, and maintainable codeTranslate business requirements into technical solutionsImplement new features, perform code reviews, provide technical support, and resolve bugsContribute to system architecture design and create technical documentationActively participate in code reviews and help improve overall engineering standardsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, both verbally and in writing, regarding technical solutions and project progressOur tech -stack is continually evolving but to give you a flavour of what we're currently working with here are some of the tools we use;Languages: PythonTools: Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, cloud AWS, Grafana, FirebaseMethodologies: Agile, Scrum; we have 14 day sprints and SU are held online using Slack Requirements At least 4 -5 years of experience as Software Developer.Should have an experience with fintech processes and big plus knowledge of cards issuing/processing.Clean coding methodologies (SOLID, YAGNI).Fluency in SQL, Python, Unix/bash scripting.Ability to write easily understandable and maintainable code in multiple programming languages.Experience with SQL databases {PostgreSQL, MySQL}.Good understanding and working knowledge of Django.Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.Experience in working in cross -functional teams is an advantage.Exellent communication skills.
