Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Python Backend Engineer located in Lahore District. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient Python code, collaborating with front-end teams for integration, and adhering to software development best practices. The role also involves debugging, improving existing features, and participating in code reviews and architecture discussions to ensure quality and sustainability.

Qualifications (Must have)

  • Strong experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.
  • Advanced Programming skills with a focus on Python.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and principles of scalability, modularity and performance.
  • Hands-on experience with FAST API is a must.
  • Extreme proficiency in data modelling, API designing, database designing and query optimization (Both SQL and NoSQL databases, we work mainly with PostgreSQL and MongoDB) and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on expereince with REST API development, websockets and Kafka.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization, setting up CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, RLS and deployment on ECS, Fargate, Lambda and EC2.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud environments, and scalability best practices
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a senior engineering or leadership role is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience with RAG Implementations and LLM Integrations.
  • Experience with PyTorch, Scikit-learn and LangChain.
  • Experience with DynamoDB
