Job Description – Business Development Executive
Position Title: Business Development Executive
Reports To: Sales & Business Development Manager
Location: Onsite – Lahore, Pakistan
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in Business Development / Sales
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and expanding the company's footprint in the IT services and staff augmentation industry. The role involves generating leads, applying to relevant opportunities, and converting them into successful client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across job boards, client platforms, and direct outreach.
- Submit tailored applications and proposals for IT staffing and software development opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with recruiters, clients, and decision-makers.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, target industries, and areas of growth.
- Collaborate with the technical and sales teams to align resources with client requirements.
- Maintain and update CRM/ATS with applications, leads, responses, and follow-ups.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on applications, responses, interviews, and wins.
- Work towards achieving monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience (3+ years) in business development, sales, or recruitment (preferably in IT services).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, job boards, and lead generation tools.
- Ability to manage high-volume applications and multitask effectively.
- Strong negotiation and client engagement skills.
- Goal-oriented and self-driven with the ability to work independently.
- KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Monthly job applications and proposals submitted.
- Positive response and interview conversion rates.
- Leads generated and meetings scheduled.
- Successful closures and revenue contribution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development / Sales (IT sector preferred).
- Familiarity with international hiring and staff augmentation is an advantage.
