Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality 3D assets including characters, environments, props, and UI elements for Unity-based mobile games.

  • Handle the entire 3D pipeline: concept, modeling, sculpting, UV mapping, texturing, shading, lighting, animation, and rendering.

  • Ensure all assets are optimized for mobile performance while maintaining artistic integrity.

  • Develop and maintain stylized or realistic art styles as per project needs.

  • Work closely with developers to integrate assets into Unity, ensuring correct functionality and visual quality.

  • Collaborate with the design and tech teams to establish and refine art workflows and pipelines.

  • Mentor junior artists and contribute to art direction and visual consistency across projects.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and artistic issues related to 3D assets and rendering.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging tools, techniques, and trends in 3D game art and mobile optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 years of experience as a 3D Artist / Generalist in the gaming industry, with at least 2 years focused on Unity mobile projects.

  • Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, animation, rigging, lighting, and rendering pipelines.

  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as:

    • Maya / Blender / 3ds Max (modeling & animation)

    • Substance Painter / Designer, Photoshop, ZBrush (texturing & sculpting)

    • Unity 3D (integration, materials, shaders, optimization)

  • Deep understanding of PBR workflows, real-time rendering, and mobile asset optimization.

  • Strong sense of composition, color, scale, and detail.

  • Experience with VFX, particle systems, and shader creation is a plus.

  • Familiarity with game pipelines, asset management, and version control tools (Git, Perforce, etc.).
