Purpose:

To lead and manage the offshore Accounts Payable operations from GBS Pakistan, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, payment, adherence to company policies, and close coordination with the UAE-based FSSC AP team and BU Finance. This role is accountable for SLA delivery, controls compliance, process improvements, and people management across the AP team in Pakistan.

JD:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the AP function in Pakistan, including invoice processing, GRIR closure, vendor reconciliations, and accurate payment initiation.

  • Ensure adherence to AP monthly closing calendar, including cut-offs (between 27th to 29th of each month), accruals, and supplier advance tracking.

  • Review and ensure accuracy in UAE FSSC AP payment recon and payment release process.

  • Validate vendor onboarding documentation in line with UAE regulations (Trade License, TRN, bank details).

  • Monitor dashboards for pending invoices, GRIR backlog, and blocked payments; ensure resolution with relevant UAE stakeholders.

  • Prepare MIS reports, KPIs, and AP performance summaries for Pakistan and UAE

  • Arranging weekly progress meeting with FSSC AP Tower Head.

  • Adherence of agreed timelines on the reports as per SLA.

SKILLS:

Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards

Working knowledge of ERP environment preferable Microsoft Dynamics

Working knowledge of VAT for invoice processing

Strong technical accounting capabilities, Advanced level MS office applications, especially Excel
