Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pre Authorization Executive, located in Islamabad. The Pre Authorization Executive will be responsible for managing pre-authorization processes efficiently to ensure timely approval for medical procedures or services. Key responsibilities include reviewing insurance requirements, verifying patient coverage details, submitting prior authorization requests, documenting approvals or denials, and communicating with healthcare providers and insurance representatives to resolve discrepancies. The role requires meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance with organizational and payer policies.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in healthcare insurance verification, prior authorizations, and patient eligibility checks
  • Strong organizational skills for documentation, record-keeping, and communication with insurance representatives
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, and payer guidelines
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities for resolving pre-authorization denials or delays
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers, payers, and administrative teams
  • Experience with healthcare RCM software and technology is an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, administration, or a related field preferred
