Job Summary:

Tapmad is seeking a dynamic and insightful
Head of Data Analytics
to lead our analytics function. This is a high-impact role for a leader who is passionate about bridging the gap between raw data and actionable business strategy. The ideal candidate is more than just a technical manager; you are a critical thinker and a business partner. You must possess deep analytical curiosity and a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear analytical frameworks. You will be responsible for leading a team to analyze data, deliver powerful insights, and build predictive models that directly influence key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Insight Generation:
    Lead the team in conducting complex analyses (e.g., customer behavior, market trend analysis, operational efficiency) to uncover actionable insights and provide clear, strategic recommendations.
  • Business Translation:
    Act as the primary "data translator" for the business. Distill complex findings into compelling narratives, visualizations, and presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Predictive Modeling:
    Guide the development, validation, and implementation of predictive models (e.g., customer churn, lifetime value, demand forecasting) to support proactive decision-making.
  • Team Mentorship:
    Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data analysts and scientists. Foster a culture of analytical rigor, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Data Governance & Roadmap:
    Oversee the analytics roadmap, define key metrics (KPIs), and work with engineering partners to ensure data quality, accessibility, and the reliability of our BI tools.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience:
    6 to 8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science.
  • Leadership Experience:
    3 to 4 years of experience managing and mentoring an analytics team.
  • Predictive Modeling:
    Hands-on experience and deep understanding of building, deploying, and maintaining predictive models and machine learning algorithms (using Python or R).
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Expertise in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

Skills:

  • A strong ability to think critically, structure ambiguous problems, and use data to draw logical conclusions.
  • The ability to quickly understand business models, strategic goals, and how different functional areas (marketing, finance, product) operate and interact.
  • Proven experience translating complex data analysis into clear, persuasive insights and recommendations for an executive-level audience.
  • You don't just "pull numbers"; you ask "why" and "what's next," constantly connecting data back to the overarching business strategy.
