Role Overview

We are seeking a
Trade Corridors Strategy Analyst
to support analytical, research, and policy design work related to global trade facilitation, port governance, and logistics modernization. The role involves applied policy research and advisory support for projects targeting infrastructure resilience, customs harmonization, and institutional coordination across trade ecosystems.

This is a strong opportunity for professionals with consulting, research, or public-sector experience in international trade, logistics planning, or development policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on logistics performance, corridor efficiency, and trade facilitation initiatives
  • Draft policy briefs and technical notes on cross-border trade operations and regulatory frameworks
  • Support development of institutional diagnostics and benchmarking reports for public-sector clients
  • Contribute to scenario modeling and risk analysis for trade and infrastructure resilience
  • Analyze trade datasets, infrastructure indices, and regional development indicators
  • Map governance structures of port and customs institutions, particularly in gateway or transshipment hubs
  • Stay informed on regional policy developments, international agreements, and donor priorities

Qualifications

  • Degree in Public Policy, Trade Economics, Development Studies, or related field
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in trade advisory, infrastructure planning, or multilateral development projects
  • Familiarity with South Asian trade frameworks, port logistics challenges, or infrastructure policy is a plus
  • Strong writing, synthesis, and analytical skills geared toward public-sector and institutional audiences
  • Fluency in English required; Urdu or regional languages are a plus for stakeholder coordination
