Job Summary

Responsible to contribute towards superior service delivery and cost control related to operations of the Retail Client Businesses by ensuring error free and timely processing of Client Maintenance activities for the Banks clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure that all Maintenance related activities are carried out with the maximum efficiency, security & control and that service is provided to both internal & external customers in accordance with agreed service standards
  • To ensure that all requests are processed with maximum efficiency and accuracy and as per the agreed service standards
  • To design, recommend and implement action plans for continuous process improvements to enhance both processing efficiency and operational controls and save costs.
  • To develop a highly motivated, professional & productive team.
  • Adherence to Service Level Agreements and Key Control Standards
  • To ensure strict compliance with Group, Central Bank and Shariah regulations
  • Ensure office decorum, discipline and clean desk policy
  • To design, recommend and implement action plans for continuous process improvements to enhance both processing efficiency and operational controls and save costs.
  • To develop a highly motivated, professional & productive team
  • Adherence to Service Level Agreements and Key Control Standards
  • To ensure strict compliance with Group, Central Bank and Shariah regulation
  • Carefully examine and processed queries received from various departments in relation to inward/outward clearing
  • Continuously review processes to identify inherent risks and gaps in processes and advise ways to mitigate the same and strive to minimize risks. Prepare root cause analysis for customer complaints and take remedia
  • To ensure that all Clearing related activities are carried out with the maximum efficiency, security & control and that service is provided to both internal & external customers in accordance with agreed service standards
  • Ensure effective scrutiny of clearing instruments especially technical and Cheques Papers
  • To ensure vouchers / cheques / source documents are properly binded and placed
  • To ensure that all clearing activities are processed with maximum efficiency and accuracy and as per the agreed service standards.

    Ensure that every request is processed else there must be a proper reason against each pending request.
  • Ensure that every request received within cut-off, is processed else there must be a proper reason against each pending request.

    Follow-up on the pending cases and make sure that the targeted Turn Around Time is not disturbed.
  • To act as a secondary key custodian and to execute the vault management activities end to end
  • Act and response on all queries / complaints / requests received from relevant stakeholder
  • Effectively manage risks and create a robust control environment.
  • Ensure adherence to all CST (Control Sample Testing) and HCL (Health Checklist).
  • Coordinating, Facilitating and Promoting understanding of Operational risk and its implementation and management of Governance & control within the unit.
  • Ensure that all process / practices in the unit comply with bank' risk and compliance procedures to minimize security and risk exposure.
  • Formulate improvement in operating procedure to effectively manage risks and create a robust control environment.
  • Ensure adherence to all CST (Control Sample Testing) and HCL (Health Checklist) and ORF (Operation Risk Framework).
  • Assist in coordinating, Facilitating and promoting understanding of Operational risk and its implementation and management of Operational Risk within the unit.
