We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented 
Business Development Officer (BDO)

to join our software house team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in 
client acquisition, lead generation, and sales conversion

, along with hands-on experience working as a freelancer on platforms such as 
Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn

.

This role requires excellent communication skills, market research ability, and the drive to bring new business opportunities for software development, digital solutions, and IT services.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, generate, and qualify new business leads for software and IT services.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive communication.
  • Pitch and present customized solutions to potential clients.
  • Manage and grow profiles on 
    Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and other freelancing platforms
    .
  • Prepare and submit compelling proposals to win projects.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets.
  • Represent the company in networking events, client meetings, and online communities.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a 
    BDO / Business Development Executive
     in a software house or IT company.
  • Hands-on freelancing experience on 
    Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn
     (must-have).
  • Strong understanding of IT services such as software development, mobile apps, web solutions, and digital products.
  • Excellent 
    communication, negotiation, and presentation
     skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Goal-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing for lead generation.
  • Experience in client onboarding and account management.
