About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic
Head of Finance & Operations (Fuel Division)
to lead our
fuel retail operations
across multiple gas stations in the United States.

This role will oversee
fuel pricing, procurement, tank reconciliation, bookkeeping, vendor management, inventory control, and compliance
with federal and state fuel regulations.

The ideal candidate combines
financial acumen with strong operational expertise
in the fuel retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all
    financial operations
    related to the fuel division — budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Design and implement
    fuel pricing strategies
    based on market data, competitor analysis, and cost structures.
  • Manage
    fuel procurement, supplier relationships, and delivery logistics
    .
  • Oversee
    daily tank reconciliation
    , variance analysis, and fuel inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with
    EPA, DOT, OSHA
    , and other state regulatory standards.
  • Establish
    internal financial controls
    and audit-ready processes.
  • Provide
    data-driven insights and reports
    on fuel margins, sales trends, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop a
    cross-functional team
    in finance and fuel operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management
    (Master's preferred).
  • Professional certification
    (CPA, CMA, or CA) preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience
    in finance & operations within
    fuel retail, gas station, or energy industries
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    fuel pricing, supply chain, and reconciliation systems
    .
  • Proficiency with
    fuel management software
    (e.g., PDI, Verifone, Gilbarco, Petrosoft) and ERP systems.
  • Excellent
    leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills
    .

  • Fuel margin and profitability per gallon
  • Accuracy of daily tank reconciliation
  • On-time vendor payments and deliveries
  • Zero compliance violations
  • Timely and accurate financial reporting
