We are looking for an experienced and driven Team Lead Mobile Developer to lead the development of our next-generation customer-facing mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with 7–8 years of experience in native app development who thrives on building high-quality products that deliver exceptional user experiences.

About the Role

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end mobile development lifecycle—from architecture design and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to create smooth, secure, and scalable mobile experiences. The role requires balancing leadership and technical expertise, ensuring the team follows best coding practices while maintaining high development velocity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) applications.
  • Define mobile architecture, set up CI/CD pipelines, and ensure code quality through reviews and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services and APIs.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Ensure app performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Oversee app releases on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
  • Implement strong data protection and privacy measures, especially for patient-related information.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–8 years of experience in native Android and iOS development.
  • Expertise in Kotlin, Swift, and related frameworks (Jetpack Compose, SwiftUI, Combine).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and mobile security practices.
  • Experience with version control (Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven track record of leading small to mid-sized development teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize app responsiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, telemedicine, or patient engagement applications.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, secure data handling, and FHIR/HL7 standards.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical goals into business outcomes.
