Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Human Resources & OD, located in Islāmābād, Pakistan. The Head of Human Resources & OD will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and fostering positive employee relations. Day-to-day tasks include managing HR operations, handling employee grievances, conducting organizational development initiatives, and leading HR projects.

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with the C-Suite to embed HR into core business planning and decision-making.
  • Lead organizational development, transformation, and cultural initiatives that build resilience and scalability.
  • Establish uncompromising standards for talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employer branding.
  • Drive leadership development, succession planning, and capability-building across all business units.
  • Champion a performance-driven culture where accountability, discipline, and measurable outcomes are non-negotiable.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and recognition frameworks that attract and retain high-value talent.
  • Leverage HR analytics to provide executive insights, forecast workforce needs, and measure ROI.
  • Ensure strict governance, compliance, and ethical conduct across all regions and operations.
  • Manage employee relations, grievances, and industrial relations with authority and fairness.
  • Oversee payroll, HRIS, policies, and training with accuracy, scalability, and global best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's in HR, Business Administration, or related field; SHRM, CIPD, or HRCI preferred.
  • 7–10 years of senior HR leadership experience, with proven exposure to electronics, retail, or FMCG.
  • Expertise in organizational development, transformation, and high-performance culture building.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence board-level decisions.
  • Deep knowledge of labor laws, HR governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire HR teams under demanding business conditions.
  • Experience in Employee Relations and managing employee grievances
