Job Title: IT Support Executive

Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Executive to provide timely technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hardware, software, networks, and end-user support, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, chat, or in person.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and passwords in accordance with security policies.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to outages or performance issues.
  • Assist with setting up new user workstations and onboarding IT orientation.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs, replacements, and IT procurement.
  • Ensure all IT policies and security protocols are followed.
  • Support IT projects and upgrades as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365, and common business applications.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
  • Good understanding of IT security practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, CCNA).
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk).
  • Exposure to cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
