- Database Security and Compliance: The Oracle DBA is responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of the database system, including managing user accounts and permissions, implementing security policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Database Backup and Recovery: The Oracle DBA is responsible for designing and implementing backup and recovery strategies to protect the organization's data in the event of a disaster or system failure.
- Database Performance Optimization: The Oracle DBA is responsible for optimizing the performance of the database system, including tuning SQL queries, optimizing database configuration, and designing database schemas for optimal performance.
- Database Capacity Planning and Management: The Oracle DBA is responsible for planning and managing the capacity of the database system, including predicting future capacity needs, allocating system resources appropriately, and scaling the system to meet changing business needs.
