We are hiring a
SQL Support Engineer
who has strong expertise in
Microsoft SQL Server
and can provide technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for
    MS SQL Server databases
    .
  • Write, debug, and optimize
    SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
    .
  • Troubleshoot issues related to
    database performance, connectivity, backups, and security
    .
  • Work with development teams to ensure smooth
    integration between applications and databases
    .
  • Monitor and maintain
    database health
    , including indexes, logs, and resource utilization.
  • Assist in
    data analysis and reporting
    as required.
  • Document solutions and maintain support knowledge base.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server
    (queries, procedures, functions, indexing, optimization).
  • Experience with
    SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
    and related tools.
  • Good understanding of
    database performance tuning and troubleshooting
    .
  • Familiarity with
    backup/restore strategies
    and data security practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to
    explain technical issues clearly
    .
  • Knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu environment (bonus, since SQL may be hosted there).
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to resolve customer-reported issues.
