Position Overview:

A reputed sportswear brand in the UK is seeking a Business Development Manager Cricket Division to be based in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will be a cricket industry expert someone who possesses deep knowledge of global and domestic cricket leagues, county circuits, player networks, and franchise ecosystems. This role combines business development, marketing strategy, and operational coordination, focused on building meaningful partnerships within the cricket landscape. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding the brand's presence across professional cricket and driving growth through sponsorships, collaborations, and commercial alliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with cricket players, agents, clubs, and leagues for sponsorships and collaborations.
  • Build and manage relationships with cricket boards, associations, and event organizers.
  • Negotiate and execute brand ambassador deals, endorsement contracts, and promotional tie-ups.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand Grip Active's footprint in domestic and international cricket.
  • Drive commercial partnerships, sales opportunities, and brand integrations within the cricket sector.
  • Research new market trends and identify opportunities for brand exposure in emerging cricket markets.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional shoots, and player endorsement activities.
  • Work closely with the marketing and creative team to develop cricket-specific campaigns and product launches.
  • Ensure consistent brand visibility during tournaments, exhibitions, and cricket events.
  • Maintain accurate records of player contracts, sponsorship deliverables, and event calendars.
  • Liaise between management, players, and media partners for communication and approvals.
  • Support logistics for cricket events, brand promotions, and product distributions.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Deep understanding of global and domestic cricket ecosystems (ICC, PSL, IPL, CPL, County Cricket, etc.).

Strong network or exposure to players, clubs, management teams, or league organizers.

3–5 years of experience in business development, sports marketing, or sponsorship management.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong organizational and administrative abilities.

Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about sports and brand development.
