Job Summary:

The Manager Business Development for Health, Nutrition, and Food Safety is responsible for driving growth initiatives and expanding the organization's footprint in the sectors of health, nutrition, and food safety. This role involves identifying market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and promoting innovative solutions that align with health and safety standards. The manager will work cross-functionally to support educational programs, certification courses, and consultancy services focused on improving public health and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities focusing on health, nutrition, and food safety markets.
  • Formulate and execute business development strategies to increase outreach, revenue, and brand presence.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with healthcare, food, and nutrition industry stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations and prepare proposals for contracts, collaborations, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, training, and product development to align offerings with market demand and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct market analysis to monitor trends and competitor activities related to health, nutrition, and food safety.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and workshops to boost visibility and attract potential clients.
  • Manage business development metrics, track performance, and report outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Advocate for the integration of health, nutrition, and food safety principles into business development activities.
  • Support continuous improvement in service delivery and product innovation aligned with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Food Science, Business, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or marketing within health, nutrition, or food safety sectors.
  • Strong understanding of health regulations, nutritional standards, and food safety compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving business growth targets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficient in business tools such as CRM software and market research methodologies.
