Job Title: Shopify App Developer (Private & Public Apps)

Company Overview:

We are a dynamic e-commerce company seeking an experienced Shopify App Developer to build and maintain both private and public Shopify apps. You will work on creating new apps from scratch, optimizing existing apps, and ensuring seamless integration with Shopify stores. This is a remote position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about developing innovative e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Shopify Apps: Create both private and public apps that integrate seamlessly with Shopify.
  • App Modification and Optimization: Modify and improve existing Shopify apps to enhance performance, add features, and fix bugs.
  • API Integration: Work with Shopify's REST and GraphQL APIs to integrate third-party services and improve app functionality.
  • App Store Submission: Manage the process of submitting apps to the Shopify App Store, ensuring compliance with Shopify's guidelines.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work with internal teams to define technical requirements and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Quickly identify and resolve app issues to ensure a smooth user experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify App Developer.
  • Shopify API Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Shopify's REST API, GraphQL API, and Admin APIs.
  • Full Stack Development: Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript ), and back-end programming , Ruby on Rails, etc.).
  • App Submission: Experience submitting apps to the Shopify App Store and understanding the approval process.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Preferred Skills:

  • Shopify Plus experience.
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations (payment gateways, shipping, analytics).
  • Cloud hosting experience (AWS, Heroku).
