About the Role:

We seek a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with expertise in freelancing platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, etc.) and a solid technical understanding of web development frameworks. The ideal candidate will excel in proposal writing, client acquisition, and strategic business growth while collaborating with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities on Upwork, Fiverr, and other freelancing/job platforms.
  • Craft compelling, customized proposals to secure web and mobile development projects.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's client base and revenue streams.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, competition, and untapped opportunities.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships through effective communication and trust.
  • Collaborate with technical teams (developers, designers) to align project deliverables with client expectations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and timelines to ensure profitable and sustainable deals.
  • Stay updated on emerging web technologies (e.g., Angular, React, Laravel, ) to pitch relevant solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Freelancing Platforms: Proven success in winning projects via Upwork, Fiverr, or similar platforms.
  • Proposal Writing: Ability to write persuasive, client-focused proposals.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with frontend/backend frameworks (e.g., React, Laravel) to understand project scope.
  • Communication: Exceptional English verbal/written skills for client interactions.
  • Negotiation & Sales: Strong closing skills with a track record in IT/software sales.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to identify market gaps and strategize growth.
  • Problem-Solving: Resourceful in overcoming business development challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a software house/tech agency (preferably 1-2 years of exeprience in web/mobile development).
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales pipelines.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing (SEO, ads) to enhance platform visibility.
