We're Hiring a Senior Business Development Manager - (Lahore)

About the client:
One of the Top Construction companies in Pakistan, having approx 1000+ employees, is hiring a Business Development Manager for its Lahore office.

Job Summary:

Job Role Main (Duties on which candidate will spend more than 70% of his time):

· Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the construction, infrastructure, and real estate sectors to achieve growth and revenue targets.

· Conduct detailed market research and competitor analysis to identify potential clients, upcoming projects, and industry trends.

· Develop and implement strategic business development plans in alignment with company objectives and market potential.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to strengthen the companys market presence.

· Lead the preparation, review, and submission of technical and commercial proposals in coordination with estimation, engineering, and finance teams.

· Evaluate tender documents, drawings, and BOQs to determine project scope, risks, and commercial viability.

· Coordinate with project and operations teams to ensure the companys capacity and capabilities align with proposed commitments.

· Represent the company in client meetings, negotiations, and presentations to promote services and secure contracts.

· Oversee branding, marketing, and promotional initiatives, including participation in exhibitions, seminars, and networking events.

· Develop and maintain a strong client database and ensure systematic follow-up for project inquiries, tenders, and pre-qualifications.

· Prepare regular business development reports, pipeline summaries, and performance dashboards for senior management review.

· Lead and mentor the business development team, setting clear performance goals and ensuring effective coordination with other departments.

· Support top management in strategic planning, partnerships, and exploring joint venture opportunities to expand business reach.

· Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by senior management to ensure continuous business growth and client satisfaction.

Job Role Secondary (Duties on which candidates will spend less than 30% time)

· Participate in strategic business planning, budgeting, and market forecasting in coordination with top management.

· Contribute to the evaluation and pre-qualification process for large-scale tenders, publicprivate partnerships, and infrastructure bids.

· Conduct periodic market intelligence reviews to assess competitor positioning, pricing strategies, and emerging market segments.

· Support management in developing alliances, joint ventures, and consortium partnerships with local and international firms.

· Review project costing, margins, and financial models to ensure commercial viability and profitability.

· Develop and present detailed business development performance reports and strategic insights to senior leadership.

· Engage with marketing and communications teams to refine corporate branding, digital presence, and promotional strategies.

· Represent the company at client events, conferences, and industry forums to enhance brand recognition and networking.

· Mentor junior business development staff, providing guidance on proposal writing, negotiation, and client relationship management.

Required Qualification: BSc Civil Engineering / MBA Marketing.

Experience: years of experience in any Construction company

Job Mode: Full time Onsite 

Job Location: Lahore

Work Days: Monday to Saturday

Work Timings:  9 AM to 6 PM
