Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Owner located in Lahore. The Product Owner will be responsible for managing product development from inception to completion, analyzing business needs, and communicating effectively with development teams and stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks will include defining product vision, creating product roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs, and ensuring the successful implementation of product features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership:
    Own the end-to-end lifecycle for products.
  • Requirement Gathering:
    Collect and define requirements from stakeholders. Turn feedback into clear, actionable user stories and product features.
  • Prioritization:
    Prioritize features and bug fixes based on business impact, feedback, and technical input.
  • Backlog Management:
    Maintain a clear and organized product backlog. Ensure requirements are up to date and well-defined for the development team.
  • Market Awareness:
    Stay informed about trends in technology and competitor products. Use these insights to guide product direction.
  • Data-Driven Decisions:
    Use data and analytics tools, to measure product performance, adoption, and satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Communicate product plans, progress, and changes to key stakeholders. Provide clear updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Product Documentation:
    Maintain thorough documentation of product requirements, feature changes, and outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Regularly assess and improve product features to increase adoption and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related role.
  • Experience working with technology (such as mobile apps or web portals) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to balance business goals, technical constraints, and user needs.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.
