We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Personal Assistant (PA) to support a Dutch emerging Michelin-star chef in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Pakistan's fresh and organic food markets, strong connections with local farmers and suppliers, and a deep understanding of the high-end dining industry. The PA will play a pivotal role in enabling the chef's vision by sourcing premium ingredients, managing logistics, and identifying opportunities to elevate the culinary experience in Pakistan's vibrant food scene.

Responsibilities

  • Source premium, fresh, and organic ingredients from markets and farms across Pakistan (e.g., Lahore, Karachi, Hunza, Swat).
  • Build strong relationships with local farmers, fishermen, and artisanal producers to ensure a consistent, high-quality supply chain.
  • Stay updated on Pakistan's fine-dining trends and global Michelin-star standards; provide insights for menu development.
  • Manage logistics: chef's travel, farm visits, supplier meetings, and restaurant operations.
  • Act as a cultural liaison, helping integrate Pakistan's diverse culinary traditions into the chef's vision.
  • Handle administrative tasks including correspondence, budgeting, and compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, culinary, or assistant roles (fine-dining or Michelin-star experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistan's food markets, seasonal produce, and sustainable sourcing.
  • A solid network with farmers, suppliers, and culinary communities across Pakistan.
  • Fluent in Urdu and English (regional languages like Punjabi, Sindhi, or Pashto are a plus).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools (social media/PR knowledge is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Pakistan.
