Job description

We're hiring an Email Marketing Specialist to plan, build, and optimize campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue. You'll own strategy, execution, and measurement across newsletters, lifecycle journeys, and promotions.

What you'll do

  • Develop email strategy, calendars, and audience segmentation (ICP/personas).
  • Build campaigns and automated journeys (welcome, onboarding, nurture, re-engagement, win-back, upsell).
  • Write/QA copy and subject lines; ensure brand, deliverability, and accessibility compliance.
  • Run A/B tests (subject, send time, CTAs, layouts); analyze results and iterate.
  • Manage lists, hygiene, and consent (GDPR/CCPA/CAN-SPAM); maintain high sender reputation.
  • Create reports on opens, clicks, conversions, and revenue attribution; present insights to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales/Success for lead handoff, and with Content/Design for assets.

What you'll need

  • 2–4+ years in email/lifecycle marketing with measurable results.
  • Hands-on with ESPs/marketing automation (e.g.,

Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Braze
).
- Strong segmentation, deliverability, and analytics skills (UTM, GA4, Looker/Data Studio).
- Copywriting + basic HTML/CSS for email; familiarity with responsive templates.
- Knowledge of compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL) and list hygiene best practices.

Nice to have

  • Ecommerce flows (browse/abandon cart) or SaaS product-led growth journeys.
  • CRM experience (HubSpot/Salesforce), webhook/Zapier integrations.
  • Basic design skills (Figma/Canva) and experimentation frameworks.

KPIs you'll own

  • Deliverability (inbox rate), CTR/CTOR, conversion rate, CAC/LTV impact, unsubscribe/spam rates, pipeline/revenue attribution.
