  • Produce detailed technical drawings (shop drawings) for furniture and woodwork projects using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) [AutoCAD]
  • Create cutting lists specifying dimensions, quantities, and materials needed for production
  • Select appropriate materials (wood, hardware, finishes) considering functionality, aesthetics, and cost
  • Work closely with designers, sales, production, and procurement departments Ensure clear communication of project requirements and specifications
  • Prepare and manage project documentation (e.g., Bill of Quantities, Purchase Orders) Track project progress and report on any potential issues
  • Understand furniture/woodwork manufacturing processes
  • Ensure designs translate effectively into production steps Contribute to efficient and high-quality production methods
  • Pre-Project Site Assessment Visit project locations to gather accurate measurements of spaces where furniture will be installed.
  • Evaluate existing conditions that might impact furniture installation. Identify potential obstacles or challenges that could affect project execution
  • Work with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders on-site to discuss furniture layout and integration with the overall design.
  • Identify potential code compliance issues related to furniture installations and suggest solutions.
  • Collect data and photographs to support the creation of detailed shop drawings and ensure furniture will fit within the designated space
  • Perform post-construction site visits to verify that furniture has been installed according to specifications. Identify and document any discrepancies or defects in furniture delivered to the site.
  • Work with production and installation teams to address any on-site issues promptly.
  • Supervise sites from the start of work to its final delivery, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Implement directives from management within the functional scope, ensuring efficient execution of tasks and meeting project objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs200,000.00 per month
