Position Summary:

Responsible for managing speak-up reports, EQS, and the Excel database, ensuring all complaints are logged, mandated, and presented to the Ethics Committee (EC). The role includes daily and monthly reporting, along with data analysis for management reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Daily screening of the Ethics mailbox and EQS, issuing mandates for speak-up reports, including out-of-scope cases, and logging them into EQS.
  2. Manage the closure of cases in EQS following the decisions made by the Ethics Committee (EC) and as per the latest Telenor Group training, ensuring proper tracking and closure of out-of-scope cases.
  3. Regularly provide clearance to exit staff and contract-ended employees in Decibel
  4. Provide data on incentive-related or case-linked requests to the business on monthly basis.
  5. Maintain the Speak-Up database and share monthly updates. Ensure all fields are updated as per the specific "As of Date" and provide month-on-month data to the Head of Ethics by the 10th of the following month, reconciling data with relevant business teams.
  6. Provide detailed analysis of reported cases for inclusion in board decks and Management reporting.
  7. Submit monthly reports of employee-wise misconduct allegations (substantiated/unsubstantiated) to respective Divisional Heads.
  8. Conduct employee orientation and classroom training sessions, with occasional visits to branches in the southern region.
  9. Serve as Secretary to the Anti-Harassment Inquiry Committee, ensuring proper documentation, investigation report and coordination.
  10. Evaluate and draft cover notes for speak-up cases as and when required.
  11. Serve as an intermediary between investigation units/employees and the Ethics Committee (EC), and vice versa.
  12. Conduct critical evaluations of complex corporate investigations related to fraud, harassment, bribery, and alleged violations of the Code of Conduct.
  13. Foster strong relationships with business units and stakeholders, ensuring the right tone from the top to establish the function as a trusted business partner.
  14. Undertake additional tasks as assigned, aligning with the overall organizational goals.

Education:

Master's Degree or equivalent professional qualification in accounting or audit discipline.

Experience:

  • At least 6 years of experience, preferably in financial institutions regulated by SBP, out of which 4 years directly related to fraud investigations, theft, harassment, and other workplace misconduct.
  • Experience in compliance and risk assessment is a plus.
  • Some experience in data privacy is an add advantage.
