We are a portfolio of fast-growing e-commerce brands generating over $10M annually across Amazon and DTC. We're looking for a Finance Manager / Controller to take full ownership of our finance function. This is a hands-on role where you'll handle everything from reviewing bookkeeping and preparing reports, to managing cash flow, driving profitability analysis, and ensuring compliance across multiple regions.

This is not a narrow analyst position — you'll be the finance leader for the business, working directly with ownership to deliver accuracy, insights, and financial strategy that keeps us profitable as we scale.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the monthly financial close process and prepare accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
  • Review and validate Bookkeeper entries to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Deliver clear monthly reporting and variance analysis, with insights leadership can act on
  • Own SKU-level profitability tracking, including fees, shipping, PPC, returns, and storage costs
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow, integrating supplier payments, payroll, and marketing spend
  • Manage budgets, track actuals, and provide forward-looking recommendations
  • Analyze marketing ROI and PPC performance with a focus on margin optimization
  • Handle VAT compliance for UK and Germany and support global regulatory needs
  • Prepare ad hoc financial models and reports to support strategic decisions

Who You Are

You're equally comfortable digging into the numbers and presenting findings to leadership. You understand how finance drives business performance, and you have the discipline to make sure reporting is accurate, consistent, and on time. You're proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in managing finance end-to-end for a growing business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/CMA a plus, not required)
  • 5+ years of finance or accounting experience, ideally in inventory-based or e-commerce businesses
  • Experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, and cash flow management
  • Skilled in QuickBooks and Excel/Google Sheets; experience with Power BI preferred
  • Strong communicator who can simplify complex data for business leaders
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
