About the Role:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a strategic financial leader responsible for shaping the organization's financial direction, safeguarding assets, and enabling sustainable growth. This role oversees all financial operations, including planning, budgeting, treasury, compliance, taxation, audits, financial reporting, and enterprise-wide governance.
The ideal candidate brings deep financial expertise, strong technical qualifications, and a forward-looking approach to modernizing finance through systems, automation, and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead financial modeling, business forecasting, scenario analysis, and investment planning.
- Manage banking relationships, capital structure, and financing strategies.
2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Analysis
- Drive annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and financial KPI frameworks.
- Analyze financial performance, revenue trends, project profitability, and cost optimization.
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Oversee development of financial dashboards and reporting automation.
3. Financial Operations & Internal Controls
- Lead accounting, treasury operations, payroll, payables/receivables, and month-end close cycles.
- Establish strong internal controls, financial SOPs, and governance mechanisms.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting aligned with IFRS/GAAP.
- Implement and oversee ERP/financial systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, or similar).
4. Compliance, Audit & Risk Management
- Manage internal and external audits across all operating jurisdictions.
- Oversee taxation, transfer pricing, statutory filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Ensure alignment with corporate governance frameworks and legal obligations.
5. Business Partnership & Leadership
- Partner with Sales, BD, Delivery, Operations, and HR teams on financial impact analysis.
- Support bid evaluations, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and investment decisions.
- Lead due diligence for partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Build, mentor, and manage high-performing finance teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
Professional Certifications (Highest Priority – Mandatory)
- CA

ACCA

CPA
, or
CMA
Education (Preferred / Secondary)
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
- MBA (Finance) is preferred but not a substitute for the above certifications
Experience:
- 12–18+ years
of progressive financial leadership experience - Minimum
5+ years
in a senior executive finance role (CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance) - Experience managing multi-entity or multinational financial operations is preferred
- Strong expertise in:
- Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- IFRS/GAAP reporting
- Corporate budgeting and forecasting
- Audit, taxation, compliance, and risk management
- ERP/financial systems and digital finance transformation
