About the Role

As a Vendor Management Officer at Axelliant, you will be responsible for managing relationships with IT vendors and technology partners, ensuring compliance with vendor programs, and maximizing rebate earnings. You will act as the central point of coordination between vendors, finance, sales, and marketing teams to optimize profitability and strengthen strategic alliances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors, distributors, and OEMs.
  • Track, manage, and optimize vendor rebate programs, MDF (Market Development Funds), and special pricing agreements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of rebate claims, reports, and compliance documents.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to align vendor programs with business objectives.
  • Monitor vendor program requirements, certifications, and incentive structures to maximize benefits.
  • Maintain a central repository of vendor agreements, rebate trackers, and reporting dashboards.
  • Support marketing initiatives through vendor-funded campaigns and MDF utilization.
  • Analyze vendor performance, provide insights, and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally to support vendor onboarding, negotiations, and escalation management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in vendor management, partner alliances, or rebate/finance operations (preferably in IT industry).
  • Strong understanding of vendor rebate programs, MDF, and channel partner ecosystems.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for reporting and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and deadlines simultaneously.
