Position: Business Unit Head – Trading

Organization: Biogen group of companies

Biogen pharma/Biogen Life Sciences is expanding its footprint in the trading sector and is looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead this vertical as Business Unit Head – Trading. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving growth, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring profitable operations within the trading business unit.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement strategies to establish and expand the trading business unit.


• Identify new markets, products, and partnership opportunities to drive growth.


• Oversee procurement, supply chain, and distribution activities to ensure efficiency and profitability.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international stakeholders.


• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to align strategies accordingly.


• Lead and mentor the trading team, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

Candidate Profile:


• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.


• Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience in trading pharmaceuticals products.


• Strong knowledge of trading operations, import/export regulations, and market dynamics.


• Proven track record of delivering business growth and profitability.


• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
