Director of AI
to define our AI strategy and lead the development of intelligent systems designed to serve millions.

Required Academic Background

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Mathematics, NLP, or a closely related field.
• A strong publication record in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, CVPR, EMNLP, AAAI, etc.) is a major advantage.
• Deep research expertise in one or more of the following: NLP, LLMs, transformers, time-series modeling, financial ML, reinforcement learning, or advanced deep-learning architectures.

Role Overview

You will own the AI vision, research strategy, technological architecture, and execution for all AI-driven systems within WealthNX. This is a high-impact leadership role with significant autonomy.

You will:

• Architect the multi-agent framework behind our financial and general-purpose AI capabilities.
• Design, train, and deploy production-grade ML systems (LLMs, RAG, forecasting, classification, etc.).
• Build and grow a team of ML engineers and researchers.
• Develop end-to-end MLOps pipelines and inference systems optimized for mobile and web applications.
• Build models for financial forecasting, cash-flow classification, insight generation, anomaly detection, and personal finance intelligence.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams.

• Real-time LLM-powered financial agent
• Cash-flow intelligence systems (classification, tagging, predictions)
• Net-worth forecasting models
• Personalized insights engine
• Capital-markets analytics engine
• Investment risk assessment tools
• Impact-analysis models for stocks, crypto, ETFs, and funds
• Fraud and anomaly-detection systems
• RAG pipelines with vector databases and embeddings
• Do-Mode: AI-triggered automation actions
• Long-term financial planning agent
• (Future) Voice-based conversational AI agent

This is not an analytics role — you will architect the core intelligence that powers the entire product.

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Leadership

• Define the AI roadmap for the next 12–24 months.
• Establish data strategy and data-acquisition processes (synthetic + real data).
• Translate research breakthroughs into production-ready features.
• Lead ML engineers, data scientists, and MLOps professionals.

Machine Learning & Deep Learning

Build, train, and deploy:

• Transformer-based architectures
• Financial classification systems
• Embedding and vector-search pipelines
• Time-series forecasting models
• Multi-agent reasoning systems

AI Production Deployment

• Architect scalable ML pipelines and low-latency inference systems.
• Implement model versioning, drift monitoring, validation, and automated testing.
• Optimize for cost, reliability, and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with backend ), frontend, mobile, and product teams.
• Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure all AI systems are secure, stable, and compliant.

Required Skills & Experience

• PhD with 5–10+ years of practical ML experience
• Proven track record deploying ML systems in production
• Expertise in:
• Python
• PyTorch or TensorFlow
• NLP / LLMs
• Time-series modeling
• RAG + embeddings
• Data engineering fundamentals
• MLflow / Weights & Biases
• Docker, Kubernetes
• AWS / Azure / GCP
• Backend API design principles
• Strong leadership abilities and engineering culture-building experience
• Excellent research, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Background

• Experience in fintech, personal finance, or financial modeling
• Previous work in high-scale startups or major tech companies
• Experience building AI agents (planning, memory, tool use)
• Contributions to open-source ML projects
• Experience scaling AI systems for mobile applications
