Required Academic Background

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Mathematics, NLP, or a closely related field.
• Strong publication record (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, CVPR, EMNLP, AAAI, etc.) is a major plus.
• Deep research experience in one or more: NLP, LLMs, transformers, time-series forecasting, financial modeling, reinforcement learning, or deep learning architectures.

Role Overview

You will lead the AI vision, research direction, architecture, and engineering execution for all AI systems inside WealthNx. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact leadership role.

You will:

• Build the multi-agent architecture powering our finance and general AI systems.
• Design and deploy production-grade ML models (LLMs, RAG, forecasting, classification).
• Lead and scale a team of ML engineers and researchers.
• Architect MLOps pipelines and inference systems optimized for mobile and web.
• Build models around financial prediction, cash flow classification, insight generation, anomaly detection, and personal finance intelligence.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design teams.

   with embeddings + vector search

This is not a typical analytics job — you are building the core brain of the product.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AI Strategy & Leadership

• Define the AI roadmap for the next 12–24 months.
• Define AI Data Strategy
• Design Data acquisition strategy (synthetic + real)
• Bridge research with production to deliver high-impact features.
• Lead a team of ML engineers, data scientists, and MLOps specialists.

Machine Learning & Deep Learning

• Build, train, fine-tune, and deploy:
• Transformer-based models
• Financial classification models
• Embedding-based search systems
• Time-series forecasting models
• Multi-agent reasoning systems

AI Production Deployment

• Architect scalable ML pipelines and real-time inference.
• Implement model versioning, drift detection, testing, and monitoring.
• Optimize inference cost, latency, and reliability.

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with backend ), frontend, mobile teams, and product strategy.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical teams.
• Ensure AI systems are stable, secure, and compliant.

Required Skills & Experience

• PhD with 5–10+ years hands-on ML experience
• Demonstrated experience deploying machine learning solutions 
  in production
• Expertise in:
• Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow
• NLP/LLMs
• Time-series models
• RAG pipelines + embeddings
• Data engineering fundamentals
• MLflow / Weights & Biases
• Docker, Kubernetes
• AWS / Azure / GCP
• Strong understanding of backend API design
• Ability to lead teams and build engineering culture
• Strong problem-solving, research, and communication skills

Preffered Background

• Experience in fintech, personal finance, or applied financial modeling
• Worked in high-scale startups or global tech companies
• Experience building AI agents (tools, memory, planning)
• Built or contributed to open-source ML projects
• Experience scaling AI for mobile apps
