Job Summary – Junior Accountant @ Boobooks

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks for multiple clients, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting. The role requires good knowledge of accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Timings
1PM to 9:30 PM (Pakistan time)

Location
I-9/3, Islamabad

Key Responsibilities:


• Perform bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industries


• Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts


• Post sales invoices, purchase bills, and expenses accurately


• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure all records are up to date


• Maintain accurate and timely reconciliations of all accounts


• Work with Xero and QuickBooks accounting software


• Communicate with clients via email and phone professionally


• Record and categorize expenses correctly in line with accounting standards


• Assist with VAT returns, payroll entries, and ad-hoc finance tasks as needed


• Support senior accountants in ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy


• Maintain confidentiality and data protection protocols


• Any other task assigned by senior
