About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive
IT Networking & Procurement Specialist
to join our team. The role combines
technical expertise in IT networking
with
procurement responsibilities
, ensuring smooth IT operations and timely acquisition of technology resources. You will be responsible for maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and managing vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement.

Key Responsibilities
Networking & IT Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and LAN/WAN systems.
  • Ensure network security, data backup, and disaster recovery measures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for IT infrastructure requirements.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Identify IT procurement needs (hardware, software, licenses, networking equipment).
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Manage purchase orders, quotations, and vendor contracts.
  • Track inventory of IT equipment and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and IT standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in IT networking and procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of ERP/procurement systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
