The Role

We are seeking a talented AI Engineer with strong expertise in RAG pipelines and modern LLM applications. You will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems that integrate document ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, vector databases, and conversational AI.

The role offers flexibility:

  • Part-time or full-time engagement depending on availability
  • Remote or onsite options
  • Contractual work with clear potential to convert into a permanent full-time position

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement RAG-based applications (doc ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval strategies).
  • Build and optimize AI pipelines using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, or similar.
  • Work with vector databases (ChromaDB, Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate).
  • Integrate AI systems with APIs, front-ends, and client workflows.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
  • Experiment with fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, LangSmith, etc.).

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in Python (Node/JS a plus).
  • Experience with RAG architectures and document intelligence workflows.
  • Familiarity with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, etc.) and prompt engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with vector databases and embeddings.
  • Understanding of cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen.
  • Front-end integration experience ).
  • Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps practices.
  • Prior experience in consultancy or client-facing AI projects.
