What started as an R&D & Accounting back-office, has progressed into a full-service Global Centre serving all functions and departments, at the divisional as well as operating group/corporate level. Today Contour employees, located in Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad, are serving CSI divisions located in time zones spanning the globe, from Sydney to Vancouver. With the global growth of Constellation as the wind in our sails, we are only just getting started

Responsibilities:

o Preparation of journal entries for month-end close.

o Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations monthly and related reports.

o Understanding of International accounting standards such as IFRS-15 and IFRS-16.

o Investigate and resolve intercompany differences.

o FX revaluation postings.

o Assist with the preparation of revenue analysis reports (Deferred Maintenance, Run Rates, and Accrued Income) monthly.

o Quarterly disclosure reporting and templates.

o Assist in implementing process improvements to accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

o Assist with ad hoc project/analysis as needed.

Requirements:

o Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

o Strong organizational and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

o Understanding of accounting software, preferably Great Plains.

o Proficiency in English and MS Excel.

o High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

o Finalist, part-qualified professional qualification (ACCA/ICAP or similar), or a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
